AEI♥U #9 (DIY Stamped DP), The Card Concept #12 (Nautical), SSS Monday 16-6 (Anything Goes), SSS Wednesday 18-6 (You Gotta Have Friends)

Back with my second card for the day …

AEI♥U 9, TCC 12, SSSM 16-6, SSSW 19-6I made a DP panel by repeatedly stamping one of the images from Avery Elle’s Bright Days with inks from Versamagic’s Seashore set.  The panel was split and popped up on foam dots, I stamped the AE sentiments in the gap and added a little sea spray (bling!) around it.

I’m playing along with these challenges …

AEI♥U – DIY Stamped DP

The Card Concept – Nautical (Pennants and Seashore Ink Colours – Clean and Graphic)

SSS Monday – Anything Goes

SSS Wednesday – You Gotta Have Friends

ETA:  Seems my timing was out for AEI♥U, Mr Linky had closed the door … oops!

That’s it from me for the weekend … after a card making drought last week (playing catch up in a BIG way!), I’m hoping to have a few more creative evenings this coming one … if I stay on top of Feedly that is!    Wishing you all a wonderful week … thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy!  Anita 🙂

Love this card Anita and the colors are so beautiful! Love how you split the DP in two and put your sentiment in there. I wish I could think to take shapes like this and make such an interesting card. Hugs, Brenda

Triangles AND shades of blue….fantabulous!!!! I love the geometric look and its fantastic with the blues. I also really like the effect of your textured paper with the ink. The sentiment is so lovely and I bet any of your friends would love to receive this!

LOVE this! Those raised panels are soooo cool! Your “rays” are perfectly placed and perfectly straight…something I have boatloads of trouble with, but you’ve got the knack, girl!! What a great card. That linen paper is some of my favorite. Hope you have a little rain today so you can stay indoors and craft some more, teehee! It’s only because I love to see what you’ve done! : )

Jaw-dropped, mind-blown, awe-inspired: my responses to this innovative, ingenious card of yours! Those triangles are soooo classy, and the colours of you’ve selected are a fabulous combination! As for the AE sentiment…swooning! I *need* one of their sentiment sets; serious need! All around awesome card! Hope you find some crafting time this week, amidst the ‘keeping up with Feedly’ (I hear you!!) Hugs~c

Sure do hear you on the ‘catching up’ part!!! Another great, GREAT card pal! I absolutely and totally love the split panel thing you have going on here – especially splitting the one stripe smack dab in the middle – good eye!!! Great colors and oh-so-perfectly placed bits of bling! Thanks for sharing with us at CCC 🙂
