Time Out DT #30, SSS Monday 27/4, SSS Wednesday 29/4, Seize The Birthday 23/4

It’s time for another fabulous challenge at Time Out … this fortnight we have a Home Sweet Home theme … the vibrant, colourful inspiration picture is a little further down.  Here’s my take on it …

Time Out DT 30Time Outand here’s the inspiration …

You can’t begin to imagine where my focus was, can you??  This was one of those cards that came together in a twinkle …  Papertrey Circle Scribbles, stamped in the colours of that amazing wall, and a white embossed Avery Elle sentiment on a black popped up banner … easy peasy!  Despite all that colour (can you believe there are nine colours on this card?), it’s still light and airy … and didn’t really need anything else to dress it up.  It feels a little different from my usual style too … I like it!

Where might this photo take your creative mind?  There are so many elements to play with … wallpaper, striped bedding, black furniture, wooden floor, ornaments, plant, colour … and that’s just to start with!  Why not let your ideas blossom and play along with us?   There’s inspiration galore over at Time Out, from our wonderful DT and from our super talented and lovely Guest Designer, Joyce from Cards By The Sea (you’ll want to visit Joyce if you haven’t met her already … it’s a picnic trip!).  As usual, our overall winner (as chosen by the DT) will be invited to be a Guest Designer for a future challenge … and it could be you!  I do hope you’ll find time to have some fun with this picture … we’d love to have you join us … look forward to seeing you in the gallery!

I’m playing along with …

Your multi-colours of scribbly circles makes me smile! I don’t have the stamps, but I do the dies (first PTI products EVER!). I wonder if I have nine colours of paper…hmmm. Guess we’ll see *grin* Awesome card, my dear friend!

You’ve pulled out those colors in a simple but gorgeous way, Anita. I’m pinning this as a way to use my Scribbles, but not for the challenge 😉

This is gorgeous and brilliant, Anita. Love how you used those circle scribbles as flowers–and you were able to incorporate so many colors with different sizes of scribbles. Huge fun factor in this card. Thanks for your kind words and for having me as GD this week.
