Time Out DT #45 Mid Challenge Reminder, AAA Cards #53, Addicted to CAS #77, SSS Wednesday 2/12, Simply Create Too #99, Uniko #27

Hello … bonjour!  We’re mid way through our delicious challenge over at Time Out, where this fortnight we’re ‘Inspired By Words’ … our words are ‘snowflakes are winter’s butterflies’.  This week I’ve gone all cool and frosty …

Time Out DT 45R,Time OutThe snowflake panel is one I embossed at the Lake House last year … think it’s Bev‘s (thanks my friend!) … maybe it’s from Stampin Up … not sure of either!   It’s trimmed down, stamped with a sentiment from Penny Black and a SSS Christmas star, I added some gems to the centres and adhered the panel to the card base that’d been sponged with silver ink round the edges … it’s rather shimmery and sparkly IRL!

How would you like to play along with us?  You can use any or all of the words in our phrase … just let your imagination wander.  There’s plenty of inspiration over at the Time Out blog … from our talented Guest Designer, Ashwini, and from our own wonderful Design Team … definitely worth checking out!  Hope to see you in the gallery!

I’m joining in with …

AAA Cards – Anything Goes

Addicted to CAS – Dimension

SSS Wednesday – Let It Snow

Simply Create Too – Snow/Mostly White

Uniko – CAS Christmas

Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy, especially when I’m guessing you’re so taken with Christmas preparations (’cause I know I can’t be the only one!!).  Anita 🙂

What a gorgeous embossed image! The subtle sparkle, and wonderful sentiment give just the right amount of Christmas decoration, Anita … and of course that ‘star of wonder’ … so perfect!

Had to go check the stash to see if indeed it was mine, and from SU. You were correct on both counts dear friend. What a memory!! What a beautiful card, too! The silver base highlights your focal panel perfectly! LOVE the Christ Star tucked at the bottom of the snowflakes, and the red (heart) bling in its center. Lovely, lovely Christmas card!!! Miss you every day….xoxo

So pretty and elegant. I like the grey sentiment, contributes to the elegance, rather than the usual bold black that I normally use.

This is lovely Anita – lots of white and just a hint of silver. Love the sentiment as well.

This is stunning, Anita! It has everything a Christmas card should have and it’s a perfectly executed design! I love it! And I miss you! Hope your holiday preps are going well. I’m so far behind that I just decided today not to stress about the fact that some folks will be getting my cards after Christmas! Hugs, Darnell

Love this white CAS so much. The embossing looks great with the sparkle of the tiny rhinestone center embellishments you’ve added – just the right touch of some bling. Also looks very pretty against the gleam of the silvery background c/s. TFS & have a great weekend.

So beautiful, Anita! I love those embossed snowflakes. And the white and silver is such a perfect pair for the mood of this card. I love the shimmer of the silver and can image just how stunning it is IRL as I recently shimmered up a snowflake of mine in the same way. 🙂
