CASEplorations With The STAMPlorations Girls – February Guest Designer, AAA Cards #57, SSS Wednesday – 27 January, SSS Work It Wednesday – January, TE Share Joy #20, Uniko #28

Hello … bonjour … happy Monday to you!  I’m thrilled and delighted today to be joining the STAMPlorations Girls as their CASEplorations Guest Designer for February … what an honour to be CASEd by such a talented group of designers!  One of my previous cards was chosen as the CASE-ee … this one from January last year …

CASEplorationsFebruary2016… and here’s my CASE …

CASEplorations GD1 - February 16 I focused on the colour scheme, heart shaped images, some negative die cut space and platinum (or should that be platin-yum!) embossing powder.  The changes were the layout, the popped up and interlocking die cut shapes and the heat embossed trim top and bottom.   The larger hearts are from SSS … they were ombré stamped, die cut and had the little hearts (also SSS) cut into them.  Once I’d decided on the dancing line layout, I used the large die again to cut spaces into each heart (except the last), so that they ended up interlocked, a bit like a jigsaw puzzle.  I masked, Versamarked and heat embossed the strips top and bottom of the card base, and stamped and embossed the STAMPlorations sentiment.  The dancing hearts were popped up on foam tape on the card base and I finished off with a coat or three of Wink of Stella to make them all shimmery … you can see it best on the first one.

So … feel like doing a little CASE-ing?  I’d love to see your take on my card!  Pop on over to the STAMPlorations blog for all the details (including prizes!) … and for a heap of inspiration from the Design Team’s CASEs.  Hope to see you in the gallery!

I’m playing along with …

AAA Cards – Love Me Like You Do

SSS Wednesday – Anything Goes

SSS Work It Wednesday – Something New … my STAMPlorations sentiment

TE Share Joy – Keep It Clean And Simple

Uniko – Anything Goes … with the love option

Thanks so much for coming by, your visits and comments are always a joy!  Anita 🙂

Such a wonderful CASE of your ‘true Love’ card! You always pick such pretty colors, and they always make me smile. This card, with its dancing hearts is pure delight. Going from the rich pink to the sweet Springtime yellow was the perfect choice. Absolutely love the embossed gold bands at the top and bottom too. Love this! And I miss you tons!!!! : )

Don’t you love it when you get to CASE yourself? And so spectacularly, too. You’ve done yourself proud. Ingenius the way you’ve interlocked those sweet hearts. An amazing card, right down to the embossed top and bottom strip.

CONGRATS on your CASEplorations guest designer gig! Well deserved 🙂

Well pal….you have quite literally outdone yourself with this beauty! Adored version one, but a few wee changes like the SWEET bit of gold on version two rocks! Great sentiment selection – the font is (once again) perfect for the whimsical hearts!

Congrats on being the ‘card-to-case’, Anita. You did a perfect job of CASEing your own. Interlocking those hearts was genius, and probably time consuming but well worth it.
