Hello … bonjour! We have a delicious new challenge for you at Time Out this fortnight … our theme is CASE the Designer … and we get to CASE one of the amazing and super creative talents in this wonderful community … my lovely friend, Cornelia from Stempel Spass. Cornelia’s fun, fabulous card is a little further down … here’s my take on it …

I didn’t stray too far from the original … a couple of Technique Tuesday Chickadees standing on an SSS sentiment … a stamped line from Papertrey and some die cut hugs and kisses from Winnie & Walter. The chickadees were coloured with Zigs, coated with copious amounts of Wink of Stella and topped off with a layer of Glossy Accents each. They’re positioned so that one can give the other a great big birthday mwah … or maybe whisper something about a surprise party! Want to see a close up …

There’s so much to play with … the fun image, those vibrant greens, the wood slice background, that encouraging sentiment, the layout … what do you see? You know that I first saw these little chicks on your blog, and even before I’d left a comment I had to dash off and order them, lol! They are adorable and I need to pull them out more often. I love your take on Cornelia’s card. The greens just make me smile, and the shimmer, shine, and dimension from the GA is fabulous. Perfectly stamped “xo” line, and your attention to detail with the width of the sentiment and the birds’ legs is brilliant, too. What a great card!!! Wonderful case with your own twist Anita. Those chickadees are darling in the two green shades.
I just want to know what that little bird is whispering in the taller bird’s ear…hope it’s a delicious secret. Yes, I know it is supposed to be a big smackarooni but made up my own story. Once again, your sweet, funny creation has caught my eye. Love that color almost as much as I love yellow. So vibrant and happy. (Sounds like a description of you.) That strip of x’s and o’xs is the perfect accent. Looks like CAS to perfection.
