Hello … bonjour! Hope you’re having a great week! I’m here to share another card for our latest challenge at Time Out, which still has almost a week to run … so plenty of time to play along! We have a Home Sweet Home theme at the moment … with an amazing and vibrant inspiration photo (below) … here’s my second take …
I wanted to capture the overall feel of all those bold and bright floral images, yet still keep my card clean. So I did some random stamping of Papertrey‘s Friendly Flowers direct onto the base card, using the colours from this funky armoire … popped up split panels edged with black over it … and added a die cut and heat embossed Papertrey sentiment. The only addition was a little doodling in the flower centres … yep, no Wink of Stella!
So, which parts of this photo will inspire you … colours, images, borders along the top and bottom, the different tiled floors … just let your imagination roam and see what it comes up with! We’d love to see what you make … hope to see you in the gallery! We’re sponsored this fortnight by Happy Little Stampers … so not only will our winner have the chance to join us as a Guest Designer for a future challenge, they’ll also receive a $15 GC from HLS! All the details are over at the Time Out blog, along with tons of inspiration from our fabulous DT and from our lovely and wonderfully talented Guest Designers, Kylie, the dynamic owner of Happy Little Stampers and Elisabeth from Aufspapiergebracht (a blog you don’t want to miss visiting … you’re in for such a treat!)

Already inspired me but not as well as it inspired you. You’ve used those colors to their best advantage. And trimming them with black to match the sentiment is brilliant. You really are a CAS genius.

I just don’t feel as though I’m getting out in blogland at all at the moment Anita – really, these pesky school holidays do get in the way of my craft time! What a fab take on that interesting closet. Should I say I’d prefer your card sat on my mantelpiece, than that closet sitting in my bedroom! The bright colours are perfect for those stamps and the black border on the panel really make it pop!
This is such a great card! Love the bold flowers,, the colours and the doodling! And they look great between the little black stripes; a great extra! Enjoy your sunday!
